Airport Services Manchester Terms and Conditions



Please note: THE CLIENT MUST RETAIN THEIR REFERENCE NUMBER/NUMBERED RECEIPT FOR THEIR VEHICLE IN A SAFE PLACE TO PRESENT TO THEIR Airport Services Manchester DRIVER ON THEIR RETURN TO COLLECT THEIR VEHICLE. IN THE EVENT THAT A RECEIPT IS LOST Airport Services Manchester ARE ENTITLED TO REQUIRE PROOF OF THE CLIENTS’ IDENITY.

ASM BOOKING AGREEMENT

Airport Services Manchester , trading as airportservicesmanchester.com, undertake to act only as a supplier for various named airport parking agents operating locally at Manchester Airport and each individual parking supplier and or car park are responsible for all vehicles parked and in their care.

BOOKING CONTRACT

Your parking contract is made with the parking supplier concerned and subject to their terms and conditions. The individual parking supplier will generally accept responsibility for its own negligence where proven. It will not accept responsibility for the acts of any third party and neither will it accept responsibility for your car or anything in it, which is covered by any other insurance policy. Each parking supplier's terms and conditions are exhibited at each car park or are available on request.

Airport Services Manchester will accept no liability, if you do not notify them of any loss or damage to your vehicle before you leave the airport terminal.

Parking suppliers may require to use alternative car parks to the ones indicated, particularly at peak periods.

It is important that you keep your parking receipt safe whilst on holiday. Parking suppliers may only release your car on production of this receipt or payment of the appropriate amount.

The majority of the car park products / services on offer by AirPort Services Manchester will be located away from the Airports unless otherwise indicated. AirPort Services Manchester accept no responsibility for customer’s claims for refunds that this information is not openly displayed on the website and the terms and conditions.

Bookings for on-airport car parks, car parks situated at hotels and car parks where you are not required to leave your keys, and our car parks are parked at owner’s risk.

Airport Services Manchester cannot be held responsible and will not accept liability in any circumstances where performance of the contract is prevented by reason of war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions etc.

In making your booking through us or a third party you have agreed to be bound by AirPort Services Manchester Terms and Conditions. 

Please ensure you enter the correct details for Chauffeur Meet and Greet or Valet Parking Bookings as any input errors resulting in company drivers being kept waiting or late arrivals by clients may result in a £10 administration charge, payable to the driver locally.

Customers must ensure that the vehicle they leave with the car parking company is in a roadworthy condition with valid road tax and current MOT if applicable. The Chauffeur drivers are fully insured by there own insurance policy to drive your vehicle on the public highway.

 

Chauffeur / Meet and Greet / Valet Parking Services:

Please ensure you have the chauffeur’s telephone number, and details of arrival procedure as stated on your booking voucher. It is your responsibility to obtain this information before departing for the airport - any missed bookings, flights or other problems arising from the customer’s failure to obtain this information will not be recompensed.

Cancellations and Amendments  

 

All booking cancellations made the day of travel will be charged in full. Contact us at least 2days (48hrs) to cancel and receive a full refund. Inside the 2days (48hrs) you will be charged £10.00 for administration

 

Prices

Seasonal price fluctuations may occur although the best prices will always be made available.

Large Vehicles

Any vehicle larger than an MPV or Transit vans or trailers etc may not be accepted or incur additional charges. Please contact us for further information.

Dash Cam Policy

It is against our policy for insurance purposes and employees privacy to use dash cam footage of our drivers or employees for any purpose.
If your device records audio and/or video in the vehicle then the owner should alert our driver/employee on collection of the vehicle that the device is recording audio and/or video for the purpose of there privacy.
Each individual employee has the option to switch off or unplug the dash cam device for the reasons stated above and also to prevent the battery on the vehicle running flat whilst the vehicle is parked.

Telematics/Black box

We will not be held responsible for Any issues regarding Any vehicle fitted with a telematics/black box device unless this as been stated to ASM and our driver unless the device as been uninstalled.
It is your responsibility to inform us and our drivers that such a device has been installed due to individual privacy and your own insurance terms.

Complaints

Complaints should be made in writing to Airport Services Manchester where ever possible, alternatively email us  or call 07391 588329.

In the unlikely event we fail to provide you with a Meet and Greet service we will not be responsible for any additional costs which may occur. We will issue a full refund for your parking. We will not be held responsible for any additional costs such as additional parking, airport lounges, missed flights or any other costs apart from the original price of your booking.  We reserve the right to cancel your booking within 48 hours. If we cancel your booking a full refund will be offered. No additional costs will be paid by ourselves from the result of us cancelling your booking.

 

What we do:

We will take reasonable care of your vehicle for the period you have booked and paid for, starting from when you give us the keys to your vehicle. Airport Services Manchester Ltd operates a meet and greet service, cars are transferred from airport terminals and then transferred to our long stay car park which is approximately 1.5 miles away. We aim to collect and deliver customers vehicles within 20 minutes from the time they call. We will not be responsible for any losses caused by us collecting or delivering your vehicle back late.

We will only be responsible where we are at fault:

We will provide a free parking voucher for each booking if you are kept waiting longer than one hour for the chauffeur to arrive if the reason for the chauffeur being late is a direct result of our negligence and won’t be offered if the reason for being late is due to something out of our control i.e traffic, weather, delayed flights, incorrect information. Under no circumstances will refunds will be given.  If you park for longer than the period you have booked for, we will charge you the full price at the time. In the unlikely event we damage your vehicle while in our care we will have any repairs carried out at an independent industry approved body shop at our own discretion.  We will not be held responsible for hire costs of a vehicle whilst your car is being repaired.

We are not responsible for the following:

Matters that are covered by your car or holiday insurance. You must look to that for protection. Events outside our control or events you have not arranged insurance cover for nor have insurance excesses for.

• Roadside recovery. It is the customer’s responsibility to have adequate cover in place prior to travel.

• Keys and Fobs: Please ensure a spare key/key fob is available.  In the event of any loss or damages to the originals as Airport Services Manchester Ltd shall not be responsible for any transport/roadside recovery costs incurred as a result of non-access to your vehicle. Customers should hand in only one key per car as Airport Services Manchester Ltd cannot be held responsible for the loss of any keys to property and any consequential loss thereafter.

• Mechanical failures, terrorism, catastrophe or criminal activity.

• Any deterioration in the vehicle’s condition while it is with us, ie flat batteries*, windscreens, tyres, punctures (as these can happen whilst moving your vehicle to and from our carparks), wheel trims, stone chips, minor scratches that are not visible due to insufficient light, dirty exterior or bad weather on departure.

• Property left unattended on our site or in your vehicle.

• Any losses caused by you not leaving enough time for your flight.

• Delays in collecting your vehicle caused by you losing the receipts or not having some other proper authority.

• Claims you make after leaving the site.

• Any consequential (indirect) losses.

* we reserve the right to jump start and move your car if necessary and cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle or its systems

All drivers are fully insured to drive your vehicle through there own insurance policies. Our insurance only covers us when the vehicle is parked in our compound. Each individual self employed driver use there own insurance to drive the vehicles from A to B.

Once your car is parked on our car park, it will be parked at the owners risk, we will not be responsible for any loss, damage or stolen vehicles, this will be up to your own responsibility to go through your own insurance company

All these terms and conditions apply when booked direct with us or through a third party booking agent.
